Andalusia is a new luxury golf community developed on about 937 acres in South La Quinta. (The developers established community is Rancho La Quinta Country Club also in La Quinta). Andalusia will eventually include 900 homes and two private championship golf courses. The East Course opened in 2006. Hundreds of date palms rustle in the breeze while olive trees honor the Club's Spanish namesake. A monumental rock waterfall even welcomes players to the 18th green. With five sets of tees, the Rees Jones designed East Course measures 7,521 yards from the back tees and 5,489 from the forward tees, and course ratings from 76.0 to 66.6.
