Andalusia’s luxury homes were designed by noted architect Phil Pekarek. “We didn’t want to do Spanish architecture because it’s heavily overused,” Pekarek said. “But being in the character of where we live in California, we are Spanish. We wanted to do something that was a little bit different and decided to visit the Andalusia region of Spain making trips in both ’04 and ’06. Andalusia at Coral Mountain reflects the Moorish influence with spiral columns, hand-painted stone mosaics, archways, brick-line arched corridors, decorative wrought iron, small stacked stones and patterned ceramic tile inside and out.”
