Norman Course Location Map
The PGA West Norman course community is one of the newer – and with just 180 homes – one of the most private PGA West neighborhoods. HOA dues include both front and rear landscape maintenance for an easy 'lock and leave' resort-lifestyle. While most homes are situated on the desert style Norman golf course, a few offer private off-course rear yards. The community features it's own private and guard-gated entrance which is accessed from Madison Street.
The desert-landscaped, target-style layout of the Norman Course (the sixth at PGA West), was completed in May of 2000. What was once a prehistoric ocean bed 40 feet below sea level is now home to emerald green fairways, crushed white marble bunkers and clear blue waters. Vibrant wildflowers offer a stunning contrast to the surrounding crescent of terra cotta mountains, creating a golf experience that's unique from the other five PGA west courses.
The PGA Tour chose the Greg Norman Course as a co-host for the PGA Tour Pre-Qualifying Tournament in 2006 and 2007. The Norman also hosts The Prestige at PGA West, one of college golf's most acclaimed intercollegiate invitational events, drawing top-ranked universities. The Norman Course features its own clubhouse for the convenience of its residents and guests.
